E. Everett
July 5, 1952 – March 9, 2019
William E. Everett was born July 5, 1952 in Wichita Falls, TX to William Emerson and Katherine Ballard Everett. He attended St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School in York, Pennsylvania. He attended Ector High School in Odessa, Texas. He later graduated from Job Corps in San Marcos, Texas, where he received his welding certificate and became a skilled Master Welder. He was a manager at both Minyard's Food store chains and Sack & Save.
He met and married the love of his life Paula Clark-Everett in 1978. To this union Aaron DeRay and Christa DeShun Everett were born. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and later became an ordained pastor. He preached the true word of God and led many souls to give their lives to Christ. He served as the pastor of Cathedral of Praise Bible Church for about 12 years. He also had a prison ministry in the state of Oklahoma. William loved to grill he owned Big E's Pit Smoked BBQ and frequently served his community. He later transitioned to mobile operations and brought his love of grilling to the Dallas Metroplex. During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he served his delicious barbeque to those displaced by the disaster.
He is preceded in death by his father, William E. Emerson. He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Paula Everett; children, Aaron D. (Alexis), Christa D., Yvonne Alexander (Richard) and Natalie T. Williams; mother Katherine Everett,; step father, Charles W. Everett; sister Veronica Everett; brothers, Renaldo Emerson (Solaria), and William G. Emerson Sr., (Sharla),; and nephew, Troy Lee Richardson Jr. (Anna). He leaves behind a host of Grandchildren, Chassity Thomas (Lutrell), Chelsey Terry, Amaya Everett, Colton and Corbin Williams, Bralon and Brody Sanders, and Brooke Everett; two great-grandchildren Majestii and Empress Thomas; and a host of relatives, fellow believers in Christ and friends.
