Panquita Marie Carter was born on June 10, 1963 in Dallas, Texas  to Mr. Harvey Choice and Ms. Bobbie Monroe.  She accepted Christ at an early age and loved the Lord. At the time of her passing, she was an active member of Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, Texas.

She was a graduate of Western Hills High School I Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating high school, she furthered her education at Mountain View College and Paul Quinn College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management.

Panquita was known as a woman who was very sacrificial and loved to help anyone that she possibly could. She was a true example of being a giver and not a receiver. She was always thoughtful,  often thinking of others  before herself.

She was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved her family especially her son, Amos Carter.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sontus Deshon Caraway, Juan Gardner, and Melvin Caraway; sisters, Wanda Caraway Ashford, and Phyllis Morgan.
