Obituary

Pamela Renee Brown was born on May 15, 1961, in Detroit MI, to Sandy Brown and the late Valarie Inez Brown - England. While attending Detroit Public Schools, she excelled as a straight-A student and advent reader, Pamela, also affectionately known as "Love" was employed as a Manager with the Walmart Corporation for 20 years. She was known for her sincerity with customers and her care for her employees. She consistently carried that same care and concern outside of work; always supporting those whom she loved through friendships. No matter the occasion, Pam quickly became the joy and life of the party. Pamela beautifully accepted the Lord as her Savior as she attended The Potters House of Dallas, Texas.

A vivacious addition to any life she entered, Pamela Brown was known to bring excitement to every event. A thoughtful and conscious lioness, like her mother, she was genuine, loving, and always looking out for you. She loved to play cards, dominoes, dance, watch football, and of course listen to Stevie Wonder.

The amount of strength Pam carried was great! Even in the last days of her labor, she continued to champion for her friends and family, answering the phone to say I love you and using the last of her strength to give herself to others. The sound of her voice is unforgettable, the impact that she left on our lives is immeasurable. Her personality shined as bright as the gold jewelry she wore. A truly beautiful soul.

Pamela had no children of her own but leaves a legacy through the ones she imprinted with her nurturing spirit. Left to carry her heritage is her father, Sandy Brown, she was preceded in transition by her beloved mother, Valarie, and stepfather, Leon England Jr. Her siblings: Leon III (Karen), Daryl (Connice), Stephanie (Damon), LaTonya, and LaShawn. Her nieces and nephews: Patience, Heather, Daryl Jr, Lenita, Ashley, Emmanuel, Chelsea, Alexis, Madison, Alaya & Billy; Great-Nieces & Nephews: Le-Darrion, Celiyah, Madison, and Carter; 2 special children that she helped raised Tarea and Terence, and God-Children SanJuan, Adarus, Paris, Tiara, & Latonia; some close cousins, a few besties and a host of family and friends, and a special mention of her Dog Baby, Taco.
