Pamela Gail
King
December 9, 1966 – September 2, 2024
Ms. Pamela Gail King was born on December 9, 1966, in Dallas,
TX, to the parents of Arthur Dunlap and Excell King. Pamela was
baptized at the Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church under
the leadership of Dr. C.B.T. Smith and served in several church
auxiliaries during her membership. In her adulthood, Pamela
united with Inspiring Body of Christ Church under the leadership
of Dr. Ricky G. Rush.
Pamela graduated from the High School of Health Professions
within the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), where she
went on to begin a professional career in the health care field.
Pamela was employed at Kaiser Permanente and Medical City
Hospital, serving as a Medical Records Clerk. She later resigned
from her position within the hospital, however, she continued
serving in a caretaking role to care for her mother until her
passing.
Pamela will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Krystal
King, Keyara King, and Krystian King; grandchildren Kree, Kyia,
DeMonte, Jaiden, Kylah, Tianah, Trinity, Heaven, Kelsei, and
Keliyah. Pamela is survived by her siblings, Clenthel "Butch"
King, Peggy (Stanley) Gray, and Berlinda King, in addition to a
host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pamela is preceded in death by her father Arthur Dunlap, mother
Excell King, and brother Kenneth King.
Pamela's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone
she interacted with, as well as those she reached but never met.
