Obituary

Pallie Mae Mallory Eades was born to the late William and Anna Mallory on March 15, 1918 in Magnolia, Arkansas. She was the youngest of five children.  Sis. Eades' siblings; Crawford, Leon, Bessie, and Jessie Mallory, all preceded her in death.

She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mount Tabor B. C. in Magnolia, Arkansas until she moved to Dallas and joined Greater Providence B. C. in 1968.

In 1936 she married the late Willie F. Green and to that union two children were born, Billy Ray and Alice Faye.  Mr. Green preceded her in death in 1965.

In 1968, she married the late Johnnie L. Eades, Sr., the pastor of Greater Providence B. C. who preceded her in death in March of 1999.

She was employed at Southern Arkansas University, formerly known as Southern State College, for a period of twenty-five years. She was responsible for maintaining the President's residence and the library. She  especially loved working in the library because of her love of reading. She often checked out books to read to her grandchildren.

She was instrumental in helping decorate the Oakland and Tanner location of Greater Providence, as well as, the Marvin D. Love location. She was supportive of everything going on in the church.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her daughter, Alice Faye Story (Vernell); grandchildren: Kathy Story, Jeffery Story (Robin), Phyllis Story Davis (Julian), seventeen great grandchildren, and a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, extended family and friends
