Obituary

Oreather Wilson, 73, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully, at Parkland Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 5:04pm. She entered into this earth on July 27, 1944 in Houston, Texas, to the late Raymond Lane, of Marshalm Texas and the late Della Coleman of Montalba, Texas. She was the youngest daughter of three brothers, Elder, Odell, Orenza and one sister, Odessa.

Oreather was a member of the 1962 graduating class of Lincoln High School, continuing her education at El Centro College of Dallas. Oreather united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Curnell, Sr., who passed away December 0f 1993. Later on in life, she married Joe L. Wilson, who also proceeded in death in 2013. Oreather became a Food and Service Manager at Tri-City Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 1980 and retired in 2002.

Oreather was a very faithful and beloved member, serving on th Mother Board of The Lord's Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend Carlton Garrett and the present pastor, the Bishop Marlon J. Duncan. She was affectionately known throughout the church as "Mother Beyonce", for stylish dress and quick humorous wit.

Oreather leaves to celebrate her precious memories: five sons and one daughter, Trenton Lane (Anita), Earl Hendrix, Michael Hendrix (Judy), Ronald Hendrix (Pam), Willie Curnell, Jr. (Amber), and Shreatha Curnell-Chambers, all of Dallas, Texas, nineteen grandchildren, Kennith, Kayla, Diamond, Willie III, Keon, Marcus, Ashley, Ronald, Jr., Taron, KaTray, Keia, Michael, Jr., Justin, Michelle, Krystal, Demetrick, D'Emrik, Declayton and D'Emberlee all of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves to cherish her memories four stepsons, Willie, Chookie, Bobby and Lorenzo, all of Bernice, Louisiana.

Her family, friends, church family and community will surely miss her and enjoy reminiscing the fond memories she leaves behind in her long, full life.
