Ola B. Collier was born to parentage of Steven Lowe and Ebbie Crowe on June 25 th 1930 in Gilmer Texas.
In 1955 she would marry the love of her life, Mr. Lennon Collier Sr. She loved and cherished him until the end. To this union six children were born.
At an early age she attended Lake Providence Baptist Church. She was educated at Lake Providence School.
In 1969 she received her State Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists License. She later received her degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and served her patients in the Respiratory Therapy Department at Parkland Memorial Hospital for nearly 30 years.
Later, she would unite with the True Vine Baptist Church in Dallas Texas. Then she united with the Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Dallas Texas. Here she served until her health failed her.
Her parents, husband, daughter, (Beverly Ann), and four grandchildren (Angel, LaToya, Keshaand Christopher) preceded her in death.
Ola, leaves to cherish her memories her beloved children: Lennon Jr., Fredrick, Lyndice (Alvis), Janice and Shuntay, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 5 sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
