Myrtle Marie Booker was born April 30, 1934, to the loving parents of Porter and Emma Peoples.

Myrtle married James Booker and to this union five children were born. Daughter Patricia Ann Booker, sons Danny Ray Booker, James Booker Jr., Davy Fernell Booker, and Bernard Booker.

She was a member of Denley Drive Baptist Church until her health declined.

Myrtle owned her own business for 35 years "Booker's Grocery" until she retired.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Booker, and sons James Booker Jr., Bernard Booker and Davy Booker.

Those who remain to cherish her memories are beloved daughter Patricia "Pat" Booker, son Danny Ray Booker, two daughter in laws Barbara Booker and Eleanor McIntyre. Grandchildren Kassy Marie Bell, LaKendra Higgs, Danny Green, James Booker III, Marcus Booker, Robert Bernard Booker, and Javor Jones. 14 great grandchildren, sisters Virginia Lowrie, Katie Peoples, and brother Porter Peoples Jr a nd a host of other relatives and friends.
