Monte Ray Wilcox was born March 19, 1948, to Alberta & Willie David Seals in Dallas, Texas. Monte confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior early in his life. Monte received his formal education through The Dallas Independent School District where he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in East Dallas. Monte went on to serve in the United States Army for several years and later Monte was honorable discharge from the Army.
Monte was employed for the Southern Baptist Book Company for many years. Monte also worked in the Trucking industry until retiring on disability. Monte's gregarious personality and gift of gab was a magnetic force that appealed to people both young and old. Monte was a long time resident of Lancaster, Texas and lived there until his death.
Monte will be forever remembered by his family, (Sisters) Sheila D. Austin & Scheryl Seals, (Brother) David Seals, (Nephews) Adrian Moore & Alvin J. Austin Jr, (Nieces) Trina Bolton & Sheritha Irving and a host of great nieces and nephews and friends.
Monte was preceded in death by his maternal (grandmother), Lona Bell McKinzie, (Father & Mother), Willie David & Alberta Seals, (Sister) Sondra Kay Williams, (Brother) Larry Jones,
