Michael Duane Williams was born October 4, 1972 in Dallas, Texas to Lena Williams. He was her only child. He received his education from Dallas Public Schools having graduated from Justin F. Kimball H.S. in 1990 after which he enlisted in the US Army.
Michael married Shemeka Millner on October 3, 2010 and their union produced one daughter and one son: Micah and Mitchell. Michael was a decorated war veteran having earned a Bronze Star in the Gulf War. He attended Dallas County Community College District where he graduated with an AA in Business Administration. He served as a GM at American Eagle Airlines. For the last 10 years, Mike was a Team Manager and licensed insurance agent at AAA Auto Club.
Michael loved to travel, skating, and spoiling his wife and daughter who were the loves of his life. Michael also enjoyed spending time with his mother and they attended many sporting events together. He also enjoyed spending time with his extended family and friends. He had a winning personality and was well-liked and loved by all he encountered.
Michael accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour at a young age. Michael answered God's call and went from life to eternal life on Monday, July 26, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mitchell McAuthur Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shemeka and their beloved daughter Micah Patrice and his devoted mother, Lena (Odell). He also leaves special cousins, Ethel Frazier and Adrian Franklin (Randall), a mother-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law, 2 nieces, and 3 nephews to cherish his memory. Michael was a joy to be around and also will be missed by a host of friends and coworkers.
