Sr.
July 22, 1954 – February 13, 2024
Michael Borner Sr. was born July 22, 1954, in Memphis, TN. to the late Rodell Alexander and Lue Ana Borner. With his wife at his side, he transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on February 13, 2024.
Michael accepted Christ at an early age and remained a faithful believer.
After graduating from Douglas High School in 1973, Michael moved to Dallas, TX. During 1974 - 1979 he was employed by Joske's, Smokey John's Barbeque, and Business Records. He was later employed by R. Jack Ayres Law Office P.C. In 1996, he was employed by Bell Nunally & Martin LLP and retired in October 2023.
After meeting the love of his life, Charlotte Packer, in 1979, the couple's relationship culminated in marriage on July 20, 1985. To this union, three sons were born, Brandon, Daunte, and Corey.
Michael loved spending time with his wife, children, and extended family. His hobbies included shooting pool, playing cards, playing dominos, and working in his yard. He also loved watching sports and action movies.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, wife of over 38 years, Charlotte, sons - Michael Jr., Brandon, Daunte, and Corey, grandchildren - Neveah Rose Borner ( the apple of his eye), Michael Dewayne Borner, Kennedy Danielle Borner, Tahvia Jania Borner, Brennan Michael Borner and Addison Mikayla Borner, four brothers - Jimmie Borner of Memphis, TN, Phillip Borner (Renee) of Desoto, TX, Melvin Borner of Dallas, TX and Terry Borner (Paulette) of Mesquite, TX, three sisters - Belinda Borner, Geraldine Borner, Helen Borner, Memphis TN, mother-in-law, Geneva Beasley, father-in-law, Alvin Packer. Other relatives include nieces, nephews, and cousins. Goddaughter - Zariah Daniels, special friends - Rodney Agee, Dwaine Caraway, Roderick Cofer, Eugene "Mugzie" Coleman, Olen "Big O" Green, Aundre Gosa, and George Lover
