Mia Elizabeth Diaz was born August 15, 1989 to the parentage of David M. Diaz and Constance C. Jones in Dallas, Texas. Mia was called home on October 7, 2017.

Mia was a shy, intelligent, warm and caring young lady. She had a veracious appetite for reading and was a gifted writer. She graduated from Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas in 2007. After graduation, she attended Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas and the University of Texas in Arlington. She married Bryan Doucet and to this union was born one son.

Mia was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Ruby Fay Jones and (best friend and cousin) Brandon M. Cox.

Mia leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, David M. Diaz and Constance C. Jones; sister, Zoe McKenna Kamea Diaz, brothers, Estevon R. Rincon and Joshua J. Diaz; children, Caiden A. Diaz, Anthony R. Doucet, Mya I. Diaz and Callie Mae Flowers; grandparents, Merlin E. Jones, Matias H. and Dionisia Diaz; special cousin Nicole Diaz and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
