Merlenia Denice Jackson, age 62, transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly abode on August 2, 2017. She was the third of eight children born to Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Farrow on May 6, 1955 of Spencer, Oklahoma. She attended Dunjee Elementary and graduated from Star Spencer High School of Spencer, Oklahoma in 1973. After high school she was employed at Oklahoma State Employment Office where she met and fell in love with Gregory Jackson and was married in 1974. To this union two children were born, Devin M. Jackson and Denisha L. Jackson. Merlenia was baptized in the Church of Christ in 1966 and after moving to Dallas, she became a dedicated member of the Inspiring Body of Christ Church. She was employed at AAA Membership of Texas, as Subrogation Processor for 10 years.

Preceding her in death was her sister Patricia A. Farrow, Jacqueline L. Warrior and a brother Clinton Farrow of Oklahoma.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her parents Clinton and Mary Lee Farrow of Spencer Oklahoma, her daughters Devin and Denisha, her grandchildren, Micah, Shawna, London and Trinity, her son in law Edwin Tatum, in Texas. Her sisters Lana R. Wrenn of Oklahoma City, Clinetta C. Johnson of Dallas Texas, LaDonna G. and brother-in-law Stanley Barrientez of Oklahoma City, her brother Rodney G. Farrow and sister-in-law Linda Farrow,her Aunt and Uncles, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
