Maxie Faye Johnson was born November 27, 1933, in Bunkie, Louisiana to the late Cornelia “CoCo” and Thomas Johnson. She was the youngest of seven children and was preceded in death by her sisters were Gladys Howard, Irma Taylor, Edna Fitzpatrick and brothers Henry Johnson, Sr. and Thomas Johnson, Jr. She peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on August 25, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Maxie Faye accepted Christ married Lawthaniel Hudley, Sr. on July 7, 1952. After she relocated to Dallas, Texas she worked at Parkland Hospital for 18 years as a Central Supply Clerk until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Thomas Elliot Hudley.

Maxie leaves behind her sons, Lawthaniel Hudley, Jr. of Allen, TX, Michael Wayne Hudley (Ashlea) of San Antonio, TX and Bruce Craig Hudley, Sr. (Camellia) of Carson, CA and one daughter Marian Makeau Hudley of Lewisville, TX. Grandchildren Jason, Joshua, Christopher, Joel, Thomas, Bruce Jr., Brittany, De’marea and 7 great-grandchildren.

Also cherishing her memory are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
