Ms. Mary Queen Paul the daughter of Sanford Sr. and Georgia Mae (Booker) Paul, was born December 17, 1945 in Lott, Texas. Her parents preceded her in death.
She attended Waco Public Schools and graduated from Carver High in 1963. She moved to Grand Prairie and attended the former Arlington State (UTA) before working at Southwestern Bell (later AT&T) for 34 years until her retirement in 2004. Post retirement she volunteered as a foster grandparent at Faith Family Academy.
Mary received Christ at Greater Harvest COGIC under the leadership Bishop Frank W. Smith. For decades, she was a proud and faithful member of Abundant Life COGIC under the leadership of Pastor, Supt. Everett Jones, where she was a proud member of the Usher Board, CWC and volunteered in various capacities.
Mary was an extremely giving individual. She loved being around family, traveling, cross-word puzzles, volunteering, and serving at her church.
On Sunday morning, January 7, 2018, Sister Mary Q. Paul departed this life to be with the Lord.
Queen will be greatly missed, and always remembered by her daughter, Andrea (Andre) Anthony, granddaughter, Lauran Paul, two grandsons Adrian and Austin Anthony, one sister, Carolyn Paul, two brothers, Sanford Jr. (Laura), Donnie Sr. Paul, special nieces Kenya Paul and Precious Paul and grand-niece Maegan Paul and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
