Mary Elizabeth Heard was born to the parents of Finis Heard and Lardell Anderson Heard on
August 18, 1971. She received her formal education at WT White High School in Dallas, Texas and
graduated in 1990. She furthered her education at El Centro Community College in Dallas, Texas
where she received her Associates Degree. She went to University if Texas of Arlington. Where she
received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Accounting in 1995. She was employed
at Prescott, as an accountant and was truly loved by everyone she came in contact with.
On October 27, 2007, she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, Jason Zachary Dumas. Jason was
truly a blessing and they were inseparable.

She was a devoted Christian, daughter, sister and aunt and loved by so many. Mary was the
sweetest and most caring person in the world. She was hope, she was love and was the light in any
room she walked in. She loved to cook and especially bake for her family and loved ones. She was
a proud member of the Oasis Ladies Group. She was a proud member of Victory Baptist Church in
Dallas, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, Finis Heard, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Annie Williams;
and maternal, Essie Mae Blackman.

She leaves to cherish her loving son, Jason Zachary Dumus; mother, Lardell Heard . Sisters, Patricia
Heard and Faith Heard. Brothers, Bobby Heard (Jeanie), Finis Heard (LaSanya), Ronald Heard,
Robert Heard (Gail) and Timothy Heard (Fashionette) all of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
