Mary M. Culpepper, age 92, died peacefully in her sleep December 21, 2019. She was born March 14, 1927 in Paris, TX. She daughter of Rufus and Sarah Barry Mary was the second oldest child of twelve siblings. She is survived by her two sisters Barbara Ivy and Sarah Craig.

Mary graduated from Booker T. Washington H.S. Mary attended Peoples Missionary Baptist Church and then became a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church under the late Pastor Alexander. Mary married Augustine Culpepper and celebrated 65 years of marriage. During this time they had 6 children. Linda Culpepper, Delores Culpepper- Brown (Kenneth), Joseph Culpepper (Toni), Richard Culpepper, Philip Culpepper ( Bridgette), and Brenda Culpepper - Brown (John). 5 grandchildren- Denise Cummings (Davey), Kenneth W, Brown II (LaNeisha), Christopher Culpepper (deceased), Lauren Culpepper, and Jason Cole (Jennifer). 8 great grandchildren- Davey Cummings Jr., Briana Cummings, Marcus Cummings, Xavier Brown, Maximus Brown, Alexander Brown, Jaiden Cole, Jason Cole Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
