Obituary

On January 12, 1964 Leo Pettit and Clomia Wilson Pettit became the proud parents of Mark Glenn Pettit. Mark was born in Alvarado, Texas. He received his education in the Dallas Independent School District and was a proud graduate in the Class of 1982 from F. D. Roosevelt High School.

Mark served in the United States Navy in 1983 where he also received his aviation certificate.

Mark accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended the St. Paul Baptist Church in Sunny South Dallas, until his passing.

Mark was a self-employed business man. He was also a field adjuster with Dunbar Enterprises, LLC which was the last position he held.

Mark's hobbies included fishing, tending to his cattle, bowling, and traveling.

Mark was an amazing father, brother, uncle, and fiance'.

Mark was preced in death by his parents, Leo Pettit and Clomia Wilson Pettit; brothers, Larry and Melvin; and one sister, Elene.

Mark leaves to cherish his precious memories the love of his life, Timetra Patterson; beloved children, Mark G. Pettit, Jr. (Paris), Jazmin Pettit, and Markala Pettit; sisters, Jan Cheatham (Curtis) and Kay Walker (Jerome); brothers, Malcom Pettit, Sr. (Michelle) and Mack Pettit; his extended children, Gee Nelson, Leon Pulgham, and Tyson Shaw. Mark also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
