Margie loved cooking and was known for her fabulous dressing, potato salad, butter pound cake and sweet potato pies. She loved singing in church choir and also visiting friends and relatives, she was always on the go.

Mrs. Margie Houston Campbell was born January 20, 1951, to the union of the late, Mr. J.C and Maggie Houston.
She accepted Christ and united with Lewis Chapel Methodist Church at an early age in Lodi, Texas; later uniting with Old and New Testament Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Cecil Hawkins Sr. Presently, she is a member of Bibleway Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Kevin Hawkins, Sr.
Her husband Lawrence Campbell, two sisters, two brothers and parents preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish in her memories her son Rev. Anthony L. Houston, Sr. (Debbie) of DeSoto TX; grandson, Anthony L. Houston, II (Brittani) of Cedar Hill, TX; granddaughter, Raven Tennison (Andrew) of DeSoto, TX; granddaughter, Morgan Houston of Desoto, TX; three sisters, Mae Sims of Desoto, TX, Deborah Houston of Denton, TX and Shonda Barron (Eddie); two brothers, James Houston (Sheila) of Jefferson, TX and Calvin Houston (Priscilla) of Mesquite, TX; one aunt Pearline Moon; two uncles, Bennie Jackson of Mesquite, TX and Clyde Jackson of DeSoto, TX and a number of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Special friend, Gloria Jean Jefferson of Wilmer-Hutchins Texas.
