Margaret Marie Greene/Shaw was born April 26, 1941 in Plano Texas to Cullon W. Greene and Kathleen Greene. Raised in Garland, Texas where she graduated from George Washington Carver High School and entered the U.S. Navy. She later met and married Albert Shaw. She was a faithful member of Star of Hope Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship of the Women's Bible Study group. She also achieved the title of "chief cook" at the church. Our beloved Margaret was a beautiful soul with a beautiful smile. To her grandchildren she was called Grandma Margaret. She was afffectionately called Marg by her God Children and Aunt Margaret by her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her and and loved her. She was preceded in death by Cullon W. Greene Sr, and Kathleen Greene (parents), Thelma L. McNeal, Quiency P. Billops, Laura J. Greene, Barbara A. Walker (sisters), Cullon W. Greene Jr, George R. Greene (brothers) She is survived by her husband Albert Shaw, two sisters Annette L. Pierce ( Rev Wesley D. Pierce) and Susie F. Tsalikis, the Singer family and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
