Linda Gail Starling was born on July 28, 1955 to the union of Arthur and Cleo Casteel.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, but had recently rededicated her life to Christ and joined True Believers Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Rodney Taylor.

In April of 1992 she was joined in holy matrimony to Bonny Gene Starling. The two of them each had three children, making them a blended family of eight.

Linda was a dedicated employee of Avalon Assisted Living and enjoyed working in the healthcare for over 20 years. She not only enjoyed working in the healthcare field taking care of others, but she enjoyed taking care of her loved ones as well.

She departed this life on June 16, 2017. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Cleo Casteel and two brothers, Danny Ray Casteel, Sr. and Olisen Presley.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy of love, her husband of 25 years, Bonny Gene Starling; children, Kimberly L. White-Agent (Michael), Ronald White, Jr. (LaShonda),and Ronda Booker (Damion); three step-children, Bonny L. Starling, Roderick Starling (Debbie), and Katherine Starling; three brothers, Willie J. Miller, John Wade, and Arthur Ray Casteel (Gwen); three sisters, Clara Austin (Jimmy), Claudia Miller, and Patricia Moore (Willie); one aunt, Darlene Williams, eight grandchildren, one special friend, Ms. Ruby Ray, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other close relatives, and friends.
