Linda Faye Scoggins was born May 6, 1945 to Clevvie Sr. and Mary Ware. She grew up in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from James Madison High School in 1963, then went on to graduate from Dallas Vocational Nursing School with an LVN. She practiced nursing in Dallas in 1973, in Inglewood, Calif., in 1974, and in Seattle, Wash., 1976 to 1979. She married the love of her life, Rayfield Scoggins, in Seattle in 1983. After her nursing career, she worked for the Boeing Co., until her health failed.
Linda had a great sense of humor, and she enjoyed cooking, shopping, sewing, serving and entertaining. She moved back to Dallas in 2006 to be close to her family.
Linda passed in perfect peace on Oct. 6, 2016. She was proceed in death by her mother, father and 3 brothers: Clevvie Jr., Theodore and Alfred. She leaves to behind her devoted husband; her loving daughter, La Tricia Ransom; her sisters Helen Luckie (Rudolph), Joyce LaGrone, Wanda Ware, Anita Ware, Andrea Cable (Tyrone), Andrea Ware; and her brother Anthony Ware (Sonya). She also leaves an aunt, Mattie Lee Huntley; an uncle, the Rev. James Goss; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and special loved friends.
