Our dear Aunt Linda Johnson-Hill, age 84, passed away at Mansfield Methodist Hospital on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. She was born June 21, 1938, to Jennie Jackson and McKinley Johnson in Karnack, Texas. She graduated from Pemberton High School in Marshall, Texas. After graduating High School, she moved to Dallas, Texas, where she worked at Western Textile for 19 years until she retired.

Linda Hill accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior at her childhood church Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, in Scottsville, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing card games, dominos, and traveling.

Linda Hill is preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and McKinley Johnson, and her sisters, Ethel Johnson, Eddie Mae Lewis, Annie Cook, Essie Roberts, Idell Getter, and Mammie Barrance. She is survived by one sister Viola Collins, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved and held her near and dear.
