Linda Y. Byrd Williams was born to the parentage of Joseph L. Byrd and Thelma R. Byrd in Texarkana, Texas on August 13, 1952.

Linda united, at an early age, with the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She later united with Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church until her health began to fail.

Linda was a wonderful daughter, sister and aunt who loved her family and friends. She had a love for traveling and her laughter made everyone smile whenever she was around.

She worked at Med Synergies which was formally known as Gret-American.

Those that will greet her at the heavenly gates are: father, Joseph L. Byrd; sisters, Margaret Smith and Dorothy McGary and brother, James Byrd.
She courageously fought her earthly battle of cancer and never lost her faith in God.

God called her from her earthly bed of slumber to her heavenly home on July 15, 2012.

Left here on earth to cherish her memories and celebrate her legacy: mother, Thelma Byrd; sisters, Hazel Gibson, Sharon Byrd and Cynthia (Tom) Henderson; brothers, Lewis H. Byrd (Annie), Johnny Byrd (Faye) and Tralynn Byrd and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Saturday, July 15, 2012 12:30pm at First Fellowship Community CHurch, 910 E. Ledbetter Drive Dallas, Texas 75216.
