Lester James Nash was born August 24, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas. He was the fourth child of Percy and Willie Mae Nash. He moved to Dallas when he was 19 years of age. Lester was a man with many talents. Prior to Lester's retirement, he was a fork-lift driver for Willow Distributors. Lester was an avid fisherman and always brought laughter and smiles to many whenever he was around.

He is preceded in death by his father, Percy Nash; his brother, Percy Nash Jr, and sister Rose Anne Valerie.

Lester leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife Rosie Sorrells Nash; daughter, Chantal Desiree Nash; son, Johnnie D Hill Jr, mother; Willie Mae Nash, Beaumont, Texas; five brothers, Robert Nash, California; Lee Nash (Lisa), Rodney Nash (Inesia),David Nash, all of Houston, Texas, Greg Nash (Janet), Port Arthur, Texas; eight sisters, Marie Crooks, (Jerry), Evelyne Nash, Jackie Edwards (Julius), Gwen Sanko (Glen) of Houston, Texas, Sandra Perry, Toni Nash, Sharon Nash, and Naomi Johnson, Beaumont, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
