Lester was born on March 9, 1942 to the parents of Annie Belle and Zimmer Moore in LaRue, Texas. He was fourth child was born to this union.
He attended school in Waxahachie. The family moved to Dallas, TX and he completed his high school education at Lincoln High School.
Lester joined the U.S. Army after High School and served his country faithful for two years. He was employed with the Best Food Product Company for three years then moved over to the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company which he was employed for 32 years until his retirement.
Lester was married to Faye Wilson Moore for 38 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Belle and Zimmer Moore; two brothers, David and Charles Moore and one sister, Fannie Curtis and one grandson, Reginald Wilson II.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Faye Moore; two sisters, Mary Ann Hunter and Lillie Moody (Ben) of Dallas, TX; two sons, Reginald Wilson (Carolyn) of Dallas, Rodney Evans of Cason, TX ; three granddaughters, Paige Wilson, Nina Dunn and J'Keisha Evans; two grandsons, Rodney Evans Jr. (Madylen) of Sulphur Springs, TX and J'Keivan Evan; two brother in laws, Curtis Wilson (Queen) of Omaha, TX and Charles Wilson of Texarkana, TX; three sister in laws, Ima Gene Edwards, Betty Taylor and Stella Wilson all of Dallas, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
