Mr. Leonard Ervin Harris was born on August 19, 1969, in Dallas, TX to the parentage of the late Lorenza Harris Sr. and Alyce Harris.  He was the youngest of nine children.

Leonard attended the Dallas Independent School District and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in 1987.

At an early age Leonard confessed his faith in Christ at the Greater People's Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Alexander McKnight.   He later united with the Dallas Christian Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. LaSalle Williams.

Leonard excelled in Financial Advisory which gave him the great knowledge of saving money.  In his spare time Leonard had great interest in writing and music, which rap was his favorite.  Known as
Chubby" he had a love for food and loved to eat.

Mr. Leonard Ervin Harris, age 52, was called home by the Lord on December 17, 2021.

Leonard is preceded in death by parents, Lorenza Sr. and Alyce Harris, 2 brothers-in-law: John A. Wofford, and Kevin Dunson, two great nephews, Brandon J. Wofford and Devon A. Mosley, maternal grandparents, Golden Irving and Rosie Webb Saxon, paternal grandparents, Sam and Caldonia Harris.

He leaves to mourn his earthly departure: five sisters, Mary Harris Wofford, Gracie Mae Harris, Rosetta Hunt, Loretta Marie Turner (Chris), Aleatha Harris, and half-sister: Lisa Dunson, 3 brothers, Lorenza Harris Jr, Kenneth Mack Harris (Eartha), and Loreall Harris, one special nephew, Jaleel Dean, and a host of caring nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
