Her Life Legacy

Mrs. Lavella Anne Keeling, lovingly known as "Gramcracker" and "Tootie" was born on October 8, 1946, in Borger, TX, and peacefully passed in her home in Glenn Heights, TX on January 17, 2024. She was the daughter of Smith and Leona "Grandane" Wilson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Stanley Keeling, parents Smith and Leona Wilson, brother Lavell Wilson, and sisters Judith Rouser and Sharon Wilson.

Lavella was known for her cooking skills, particularly in cake baking and decorating. She was given the name "Gramcracker" by her grandkids due to her love of graham crackers and sharing them with her grandkids whenever they would visit. She loved jazz music, including the likes of Kenny G and the Wave radio station. She was a pretty good dancer and never hesitated to "cut a rug" ! She enjoyed coloring and being creative. Lavella would share many quotes with her children and grandchildren over the years. Some were passed down to her, some from bible. Lavella was a firm believer in God.

Lavella was 77 at the time of her passing. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and other relatives.
