Laura Lee White was born on September 30, 1940, in Lisbon, Louisiana. She was the seventh of eleven children born to the
union of Addie B. Thomas and Reste T. Thomas Sr. Laura was a God-fearing, sassy, loving, and kind woman whose
presence brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. She was selfless, full of love, and poured into everyone around her. Laura always
had a word of encouragement, something to make you think, smile, or laugh. With her charisma, she had a special way of making everyone feel as if they were her favorite, no matter the relationship.

actively in many ministries. A true servant of mankind, she later found her church home at Rising Faith Church, where she served as Church
Mother until her health and mobility began to decline. Overall, she was a dedicated member, always willing to serve wherever there was a need.
