Obituary

LaTonya Nicole Roberts was born on September 29, 1974.  She was proud to be Jackie and Barbara's middle child.  She enjoyed being the common ground between her siblings Joanna and Keshia. Together they became the "3 Musketeers".

LaTonya was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Roberts (March 22, 2010) and Jackie Stephens (February 3, 1999).

Tonya, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, lived life to the fullest. She kept everyone in check, making sure everyone knew where to get on and most definitely where to get off.  All the while having the biggest heart of them all!

She was a 1993 graduate of Hillcrest High School.  This is where she forged many life- long friendships. After graduation, Tonya began working at Adams Mark Hotel for 20 years in various supervisory positions until the company went out of business. There was not a stain that could not be cleaned in your clothes or in your home. Tonya knew exactly what "concoction" would get the job done.  After her retirement from Adams Mark, Tonya realized her true calling which was when she took full care of her mother until she transitioned to Glory.  She then began taking on other patients. But Tonya wasn't just a care giver, she was FAMILY to each person she took care of. She had keys to everyone's house because she was so trustworthy.   She was a beautiful individual that never judged. Could go into the Dollar General and get gifts for all the kids.   If you had the pleasure of meeting her, you knew she genuinely loved people.

LaTonya leaves to cherish her love and legacy, her children David Sneed and Elbert Landry Jr., two grand- children, Different Sneed and Spirit Sneed, who were the love of her life! She will be severely missed by her two sisters Johanna Nicole Roberts and LaKeisha (Robert) Guster along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends.
