Larry Joe Ross was born in Dallas, Texas on January 10, 1947 the son of Mr. William Ross Jr. and Ms. Jeroline Pennington. He received his formal education form Dallas Independent School District graduating from Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1965.

Larry Ross was an active member of Concord Baptist Church where he served faithfully on the Hospitality Ministry and Shine Evangelism Ministry until his health failed. He loved watching Western Movies and was a huge Dallas Cowboys Football fan.

Larry Ross worked at various jobs in the Dallas area, and his last employment was at Express Tower in Dallas, Texas.

He is preceded in death by parents, Jeroline Pennington Hunter, and William Ross Jr.

He is survived by ; His daughters, Sharron Ross and Annette Ross Ballard. 2 grandchildren, Jerod Ross and Jessica Ross, 4 great grandchildren, step-father Mr. James Hunter, sibling's 2 sisters Denise Hunter and Renea West 3 brothers Danny Hunter, Tommy Hunter, Henry Hunter( Joyce), and a host of other family members and friends.
