Larry (Slick), Rainey was born September 14, 1958, to Viola Bradley and George J. Allen in Dallas, Texas.

Larry graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He worked for Summer Electrics for over 30 yrs. And retired.

He is preceded in Death by his parents, 1 sister Loretta Harrell and 2 brothers James E. Rainey and Willie L Rainey.

Cherishing his memory is his daughter Tammy Hall Rainey and 5 grandkids, Marquis Lacy, Marquize Lacy, Marqulen Smith, Jermaine Gray and Jeremiah Gray. Two sisters Betty A. Barnett  (Nick), Stella J. Smith two brothers Reginald A. Rainey and O.B  Caldwell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives and friends.
