Obituary

Larry John Bardere Sr. was born on a blessed day back in December 1952.
He was the son of the hardworking and loving Etienne and Ethel Bardere in
the spirit-filled city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Larry grew up surrounded by siblings who shared laughter, tears, and
experiences that built the man he would become. Although we have seen
many of them part ways with us, including Evelyn, Leonard Sr., Etienne
Peter Sr., Ralph, Stanley Sr., and Wardell Sr., as well as Larry's beloved son
Rodney, their legacies live on in our hearts and memories.
Larry was educated in Orleans Parish and crafted a path for himself. He
loved playing baseball with his brothers, and his favorite sport was football.
At the young age of 17, he decided to broaden his horizons and moved to
Dallas, Texas. An artisan with a flair for carpentry, Larry not only honed this
craft but made a name for himself with it. He teamed up with his brothers,
and together they started a cabinet business in Dallas. Not one to rest on
his laurels, Larry got involved in crafting interior cabinets for executive
airplanes—combining his skill with carpentry and his love for high-flying
adventure.
But life was not all work for our Larry. He broadened his love by marrying
the love of his life, Brenda Marie Fleming. Together they raised three
beautiful children: Rodney, Larry Jr., and Bridgette, each of whom became a
testament to their parents' love.
Today, Larry leaves behind a legacy of love. His children: Larry John Bardere
Jr. (Adriane) and Bridgette Wright (Marlon); grandchildren: Dailon Bardere,
Maci Bardere-Wright, Bayli Bardere-Wright, Brenda Bardere; along with
countless nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, all bear testament to a life
well-lived.
Let's continue to cherish these memories and use them as a beacon guiding
us through our life's journey and remember Larry as a man of strength, love,
and a robust spirit
