Kevin Mosea

October 25, 1961 – November 11, 2024
Kevin Mosea Lemons was born on 10-25-1961 to Ronald LaCole Cannon and Doris
Lemons–Simpson Rowan in St. Louis, MO. Kevin attended Hickey Elementary and
Charles Sumner High School in the St. Louis school district and had some college. He
was a member of the Royal Knights Track Team, where he received several medals for
his outstanding performance.
Kevin gave his life to Christ at an early age. He moved to Irving, TX in 1982, where
he met the love of his life, Janet Smith, and was united in Holy Matrimony with his
loving wife on November 29th, 1988; they were an inseparable couple. Kevin and
his family are members of Shekinah Glory Worship Center in Dal Worthington, TX,
under the leadership of Bishop Anthony and Pastor Latrina Gaffney, where he was an
active licensed minister and later became an ordained minister. He enjoyed having
fun, keeping up with his grandson, and helping others whenever he could. He was a
hardworking man with positive morals, values, integrity, and responsibility.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Ronald LaCole Cannon; mother, Doris
Lemons–Simpson Rowan; stepfather, Pete Rowan; two sisters, Faye R. Paris and Sharon
Lemons Cody; and one brother, Mark Lemons Sr., all of St. Louis, MO.
Kevin leaves behind his loving, devoted, and patient wife, Janet Smith-Lemons; one
daughter, Ke'Ondra Lemons; and
one 2-year-old grandson, De'Andre
Harrison. He is also survived by two
sisters, Rhonda D. Lemons Clemons
(Willie) and Angela M. Bond (Johnny),
both from St. Louis, MO; one brother,
Brian K. Simpson from Austin, TX;
as well as a mother-in-law, aunt, and
a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
godchildren, family, and friends
