Life Reflection

Kevin Glenn was born to Percy Carter, Jr. and Gwendolyn Jones on February 25th, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas. His father passed when he was a teenager. He was baptized early in his Christian journey. He graduated Tascosa High School as an accomplished basketball guard followed by Amarillo College with two communication degrees. He spent many years as a Bible Study teacher and volunteered as a buddy to underrepresented youth. His desire for graduate study of theology was completed from Southwestern Seminary in 1998. His greatest joy in life was his acceptance of the Lord as his personal savior. Kevin shared the teaching of the Gospel to everyone he met. His family, relatives, friend, and strangers have all received Kevin's words of wisdom based on the foundation of scriptures. Kevin was kind hearted and his family of all ages respected his advice on life. He shared Christ with everyone he met to give them reasons to believe.

Kevin married Jacqueline Cato and to this union a son was born Landon Carter.

Kevin worked for Sears and was inspired to become a business owner with the start of Carter Audio/Video in Amarillo, TX. And in Dallas, TX he continued as a business owner for life.

Loved ones that precede Kevin in death are is father and mother, uncles and aunts, and his brother-in-law Lester J. Holland.

Kevin is survived by his wife and son; sister Benita Holland (Irving), and brother Byron Carter and wife Mary (Amarillo); mother-in-law Velda Cato (Irving); sister-in-law Sonji Scott and husband Anthony (DeSoto), and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members and Friends.
