Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Nichols was born August 29, 1972 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Betty Nichols and Manuel Johnson Jr.

Ken attended schools in Ft. Worth ISD. He graduated from Western Hills High School in 1990. He attended Cedar Valley College.  Ken had a love for classic cars by restoring and putting new life in automobiles.

Ken was married and during this union, one child was born.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Johnson Jr., sister-in law Veronica Scott Putilla.

Ken leaves behind his loving wife, Juanita Scott-Nichols, 2 daughters Avantia Nichols (Ft.Worth), London Nichols (Dallas), 1 son Jared Nichols (Ft. Worth); mother, Betty Davis (Ft. Worth), 2 brothers Manuel Nichols (Ft. Worth), Manuel Johnson III (Ft. Worth), 4 sisters, Onita Davis (Ft. Worth), Cynthia Parker (Trey) (Ft.Worth), DeShaundra Johnson (Ft. Worth), Alma Jean Johnson (Ft. Worth), 3 sisters-in law, Angela Harris Mitchell (David), Jannette Washington (Michael), Cheryl Walker, 2 brothers-in-law, Willie E. Putilla and Aubrey Scott (Linda) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
