Kenneth Wayne
Johnson, Ii
July 22, 1997 – May 30, 2025
Kenneth Wayne Johnson, II—affectionately known as Kenny—was born on July 22, 1997, to Kenneth and Sarah Johnson. A graduate of Molina High School (2016) and the youngest of six children, Kenny was the heart and glue of this blended family. Kenny's journey into the world was not an easy one. Diagnosed with both hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy, his arrival brought profound change to the Johnson family. From the very beginning, Ken and Sarah were called to a life of extraordinary care and devotion. Kenny would never sit up on his own, chew his food, speak, or communicate his discomfort in typical ways. He could not move about freely. Yet through these challenges, the family was gifted with powerful lessons—lessons in humility, selflessness, and deep compassion. Those who knew Kenny understood that music brought him joy and comfort. He had a special way of letting you know when he'd had enough jazz or old-school R&B and was ready to hear some gospel. Kenny was also a dapper young man—always dressed in sharp outfits and stylish shoes. Compliments on his appearance would often bring a shy smile, and we genuinely believe he blushed when told how handsome he looked.
Kenny also had a refined sweet tooth, especially for homemade cakes. His love for desserts was just one of the many ways he brought delight to those around him. Caring for Kenny was a full-time, tireless labor of love. But he was never alone. He was surrounded by a devoted support system of family and friends who loved him unconditionally.
Kenny's life was a testament to quiet strength, enduring love, and the beauty of a soul that touched many. Though he faced immense challenges, he lived surrounded by love, dignity, and grace. To cherish his memory, Kenny leaves behind his mother and father (Ken and Sarah Johnson), Grandmother (Jimmie Johnson), siblings Kenetra Johnson, Traneshia Parker (Sherman), Kenesha Robinson (Dennis), Ashley Hopkins (Leonard), Erik Tiggs and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless cousins.
