A precious gift from heaven, born Kenneth John Earnest Fitzgerald…., the beloved son of the late Felton W. Adams and Patricia L. Adams Hunt, entered this life on April 14, 1966 in Dallas, TX. He was affectionately called Ken and was the second born child. Friends and family knew him to be a god fearing man, hardworking, driven and successful. He was a kind man, and loved his family dearly. He departed this life untimely.
He was educated in the Dallas Independent School District, graduating from, The Skyline High School in 1984. His educational matriculation continued with Bishop College (Dallas, TX), Texas Southern University (Houston, TX) and then graduating from ATI (Dallas, TX) in Architectural Engineering.
On December 14, 1991, he married his soulmate, Angela Walton, after just 3 months of meeting. So, if by chance you want to know their story, listen to "Everlasting Love" by Tony Terry, the very song he sung to her, with his smooth lustrous voice, on their wedding day. Now from this union two children were born, Kenneth Adams, Jr. and Ashley Adams.
Kenneth was very successful throughout his chosen work history, working for such companies as Dallas Parks and Recreation, Casual Corners, Tom Thumb, Gray Walker (Houston, TX), Proctor and Gamble, Phillip Morris, and the State Comptrollers. In 1992, his entrepreneurial vision became a reality, establishing Future Landscape Concepts, LLC and later renamed as Frontier Landscape Construction, LLC. Frontier became not only a means of work but a hobby as well, because he loved building things. How about he built his own home and office himself. Kenneth saw the Frontier staff, clients and vendors as family one hundred percent until his departure.
Along life's journey, Kenneth accepted Christ and was baptized at New Birth Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Dr. George W. Pryor, Sr. Kenneth also attended, True Vine Baptist Church (Pastor Bruce Proctor), St. John Baptist Church (Pastor Denny Davis) and Cornerstone Baptist Church (Pastor Dr. William Dwight McKissic, Sr.).
Kenneth answered the call to dwell in the house of the Lord forever, joining his paternal grandparents, Edgar and Cheslue Adams; his maternal grandparents, Pastor Jesse James Bell and Josephine Bell Johnson; his father, Felton Wayne Adams and a host of other relatives.
