Obituary

Kenneth Earl Irving was born the first child on September 12, 1965 to the proud parents, Emmitt Stanley Irving and Arlillian Ward Irving in Dallas, Texas.

Kenneth was dedicated to God at a very early age at Sweet Home Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend S. A. Armstrong.  He later confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized  by the late, Reverend Morgan of the Southern Crest Baptist Church. He later joined New Generation Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership fo the late, Reverend R. L. Stepney where he sang in the choir and other church youth activities. As he grew older, he served in other ministries doing all that he could to lift up the name of Jesus.

His received his formal education from the Dallas Independent School District where he was a proud graduate of South Oak Cliff High School. Upon graduating high school, he went printing school where he received a certificate in printing and machinery. He spent several years working faithfully at Proline Compound and Fruit of the Earth Company until his health failed.

He met and married his beloved wife, Caron Griffin on August 10, 2003 and to this union two children were born. He was a faithful son, great husband, loyal father and trusted employee. Wherever he was apart of he did it with a loving and giving heart and spirit.

On Tuesday, May 10, 2022 he went to sleep peacefully and began his eternal rest in the arms of Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Stanley Irving; grandparents, Henry and Beatrice Irving, Sr.;  grandmother, Lusinda Ward January; grandfather, Eligha Ward; and sister, Kimberly Caprice Irving.

Those who remain to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Caron Griffin Irving; children, Lauryn Irving, Kendall Irving, Adam Armstrong and Aaron Armstrong; his loving mother, Arlillian Ward Irving; step-mother, Beatrice Irving; grandchildren, Falyn Armstrong and Kyrie Armstrong; brother, Cedric R. Irving (Renitha); step-brother, Rickey Champ; step-sisters, Donna D. King (Rev. Jiles King) and Vicki Eubank (Gary); nieces, Ashley Shenay Irving Geen (Kevin), Jazzmon Irving; nephews, Braylon Irvng and Jaderique Bradley and a host of other relatives and friends.
