Obituary

Kendra Lotreise Freeman was born October 22, 1972 in Dallas, Texas to Celesstene and James Matthews. She graduated from High School for Health Professions in 1991. She attended Stephen F Austin State University from 1991 to 1993.

On February 23, 2001 she married Cedric D. Freeman, and to this union three children were born. She was a Chief Deputy District for Dallas County Family Courts with 20 years of service. She was a faithful member of Southern Crest Full Gospel Baptist Church for over 25 years. She served on The Women of Praise, the Outreach Ministry, and was also a Sunday School Teacher. She was a faithful servant of God who loved praising the Lord. Kendra truly loved praise dancing she was one of the original members of the Women's Praise Team.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Cedric Freeman, three daughters Candice, Kiara, and Kamren, her father James Matthews, her mother Celesstene Matthews, her sister Tinna Brooks (Marvin), her brother Marlon Matthews(Brandi), one niece Essence Strange, three nephews Ja' Broderick Morris, Davion Atkins, and Caleb Matthews, two aunts Earltene Tezino, Patricia Matthews of Houston, two Uncles Joe Matthews (Denise) of Longview, Randolph Johnson, and a host of other family and friends.
