Karon Antoinette (Kay) Wright was born on September 28th, 1960, to the late Nellie Kelley and Willie Wright. God closed her eyes and gave her peace, on Saturday, July 8th, 2023.

Karon affectionally known as Kay, was reared in Cocoa, Florida. She received her education in the Brevard County School System, graduating from Cocoa High School in 1978.

Kay enjoyed life, she was very outspoken, and she loved herself some "Kay", always wanting to look nice. She loved watching television shows and movies. As she matured in life, she understood the importance of family. She loved spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren. Her presence will truly be missed by many, and her memories will live on forever.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Tiffany Jones, and Kevin Wright. Eight grandchildren: Tyler Adams, Tristan Jones, Tamira Ashford, Kimora Wright, Nehemiah Bradley, Justus Wright, Nia Wright, and Noah Wright. Two sisters: Mary Linda Kelley and Judith Junior, a special friend Zachary Calhoun, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
