Our cherished baby boy, Kamari KeShun Callahan, born on November 11, 2023, returned to his Heavenly home on August 30, 2025, far too soon. Kamari was born in Dallas, Texas to parents, Makayla Shelby and Kaleb Callahan.

The impression Kamari left on the lives of others will never be forgotten.  Kamari's love for music, tenacious spirit , and his love for Mickey Mouse will live in the memories of family forever. Kamari was the sweetest, kindest, funniest, most loving soul. He was a joy to be around. He will be missed more than words could ever describe.

Kamari is survived by his devoted parents Makayla Shelby and Kaleb Callahan and his brother Demari Franklin. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Candice Callahan and Kristofer Johnson, and maternal grandparents, Yolanda Carter and Dwayne Shelby as well as a host of aunts, uncles and great grandparents. Our hearts are broken, but we are eternally grateful for the brief time we were blessed with our precious son. Though his life was short, it was filled with immense love.

With Kamari's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, especially his smile, he will forever remain in our hearts
