Joyicelyn L. Weeks was born November 11, 1953 tot he late Christopher and Thelda Weeks.

Joyicelyn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas in 1975. Shortly, after graduation, Joyicelyn became a substitute teacher for the Dallas Independent School District.

Joyicelyn began her government career at Defense Contract Administration Services Region Dallas in 1978. In August 1991, she moved to Columbus, Ohio where she continued her federal service at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

SHe was a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Her memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Saturday, September 15, 2012 12:30pm at New Beginnings Community Fellowship, 1599 Kingswood Drive, Cedar Hill, Texas
