Mother Josephine Ingram was born to the late Herman Hampton and Blanchie Jackson on August 9, 1932 in Gladwater, TX.
She went home to be with the Lord after a long struggle with illness. Mother Ingram was reared in Silone Baptist Church in Glade Water, TX. Where she attended and graduated from high school. Later, both she and John Elmer Hall were united holy matrimony. October 9, 1948 and moved to Dallas TX, to this union were born John A. Hall Preston (Kilgore, TX), and Alma Hall Moore (Dallas, TX). John Elmer Hall passed away united with Robert Ingram, to this union no children was born.
She went to Nursing School in Dallas, TX and then she worked at Texas Instrument of worked throughout the Church of God in Christ. As Sunday school teacher then president , YWCC President, Missionary Circle President, Assistant Evangelist to District Missionary Florine Tillman and Mother Margie Faye Wheeler, and later she became District Missionary.
As Her Legacy
She was preceded in death by both her parents, two brothers, a sister, a niece, two grandsons , and two-great grandsons.
She leaves to cherish John A. Hall (Janet Douglas), Francine Preston (Robert Preston), and Alma Moore (Joshua Moore-deceased), 15 grandchildren's, 48 great grands, 4 great-great grands and a host of other relatives and friends. Special cousins Bobbie Moss, Carrie L. Garrett, Lula M. Walker, Mattie Wisner, Jackson, Samuel and Paulette Jackson.
