“Tenacity” by Terence Lewis
Your love and guidance were always sincere
As you talked, I listened to every single word
The respect you were given was not from fear
For the lines you drew were never blurred
The path laid out could not interfere
Therefore, the advice was never unheard
I was in awe when you made the advice clear
With the most precise certainty that I preferred
His persistence may seem somewhat absurd
Remember that I am resolute and cavalier
