Johnnie Freda Green was a gentle, sweet and loving lady. She was much loved for her easy going, generous nature. Born in Crestview, Florida, the fourth of seven children, to Johnnie Fred BLue of Granada Hills, California and Chineta Wilmer (BLue) of Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 18, 1961. At the tender age of 13, Freda made her decision to dedicate her life to her God, Jehovah and was baptized on October 6, 1974 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in symbolism of that dedication. She was faithful to her commitment. She attended the Desoto Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 35 years. Always welcoming and eager to assist those in the congregation, as well as, helping anyone learn about Jehovah and his Kingdom as the only hope for real peace on the earth. (Psalms 37:10).Freda graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1979 and moved to Dallas to live with her sister and attend ElCentro Community College where she completed her Associate's Degree in Fashion Merchandising. Freda always loved sewing and made a career as a Custom Fashion Designer at some of the finest retail stores in Dallas such as Saks Fifth Avenue. She was also an entrepreneur. Her two businesses were sewing Needles and Just Sew & Sew. Freda married William (Bill) J. Green on May 28, 1984 and they made their home in Desoto,Texas. From that union she had two children Roman Alexander Green and Wesley Aaron Green. They were the loves of her life.
She leaves to cherish her memory fondly are : her two sons, Roman and Wesley Green. Her father: Johnnie (Ida) Fred Blue of Granada Hills, CA, her mother: Chineta Wilmer Blue of Colorado Springs, CO. Brothers and Sisters: John (Dover) Oscar Frederick Blue, Diane (Ellis) Frazier, Lola Delores Meredith, Terry Terrell Blue, Chineta Lynn all of Colorado, Dora Blue Stephen's and her niece Danielle McBrayer of Texas and a host of uncles, aunts,nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
