Obituary

John Willie Cooper was born on February 9, 1947, in Jefferson, Texas, to the late John Cooper and Sylvia Lurene. He attended Jefferson Independent School District and graduated from Jefferson High School.

At an early age, John accepted Christ and grew up attending services at Macedonia United Methodist Church. His faith was a guiding part of his life.

John later moved to Dallas, Texas, where he began working at Mrs. Baird's Bakery in the thrift store before becoming an independent deliverer for the company. His dedication and work ethic were evident in everything he did.

In 1978, John met Anna, and together they built a life filled with love and commitment, sharing 46 wonderful years.

On August 10, 2025, John entered into eternal rest. He was known as a quiet man with a strong presence. He was a hard worker who valued his family deeply, and some of his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren. His life was a testimony of love, faith, and dedication to family and friends.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished brother, and a steady presence in the lives of all who knew him.
