A LIFE WELL LIVED

Our beloved Jewell Nelson, affectionately known as Big Mama, left our world on July 2, 2024. She was born September 14, 1928 in Kaufman, TX . She is the daughter of Emma and Rev. Louis Bradley and she accepted Christ at an early age. Her family moved to Dallas, TX where she attended and graduated from Lincoln High School. She attended Friendship West Bapt Church in Dallas.
She was a loving matriarch that loved and adored her family. Her children(Gail, Rita(preceded her in death), Glenda, Gerald and Gay are her pride and joy. During her 95 years of life she was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by her sister Martha and a host of family and friends. She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
