Obituary

Jeweline Beatrice Turner (known to Bean to family and Jewel to many) was born October 23, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to the late Pressie Rose and Laura Bell Daniels Rose. She was the 7th of 11 children. She confessed Christ at an early age and became a member St. Luke Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jackson. In 1962, Jeweline met and married Arva Joe Turner. To that union 4 girls were born, Camille, Carmen-Michelle, Kim, and Deirdrea-DeeDee. Jeweline was a homemaker-Domestic Engineer. In 1962, Jeweline joined Greater Mount Hebron under the leadership of Rev. Crayton where she was a faithful member until she became ill.

Jeweline was preceded in death by her parents, Pressie & Laura Rose, sisters - Doris Williams, Evelyn Rose, Clara Patterson, and brothers - Rufus, Albert, Melvin, and Kenneth, and daughter-Camille Turner. She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband – Arva Joe Turner of 60 years, Daughters: Carmen-Michelle, Kim (Ken), Deirdrea-DeeDee, Sister: Shirley Connors (Julious), Brothers: Edward (Teresa) and Vernon (Sharon), Sister-n-law: Boobie Sockwell, Grand children: Valencia-Tinka, Dominique (Antonia), Asia, Taylor and Peyton, great grandchildren: Legend, Cecilia, Dominique junior and a host of family and friends.
