Jessie Lee Burks was born September 16, 1973, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the parentage of Tessie Faye Burks and Billy Glover Sr.  He was baptized at Fairview Baptist Church in Elm Grove, Louisiana.  His family moved to Dallas, Texas where he made lifelong connections and where his two children were born.

Jessie departed this earthly plane on Saturday, December 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by Jeffery Jefferson Sr.;  Aunt, Gertrude Smith Mitchell; and grandmother Mattie Smith Burks.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: two children Armani Burks (17), and Zion Alexis (11), both of Dallas, Texas. Mother, Tessie Faye Harris (Edward) Five siblings: Jefferey Jefferson, Jr, Sachet Jefferson, Billy Glover, Jr., Kenisha Glover, and Jerome Glover. A host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
